How to use your feelings to influence literally anything in your life

This is one of my favourite tools that can be applied to anything!


When you're feeling nervous about an upcoming meeting, worried about something, feeling fearful and lost in anxiety or confusion -


Take a moment to close your eyes and take a deep breath. Take a few breaths, letting go through the mouth on the exhale. Allow your shoulders to soften and your perineum to relax. Ask yourself curiously -


“What would it feel like in my body to feel the opposite of this emotion?"


“How would I prefer to feel about this situation?”


Then begin to explore (as clunky, slow and difficult as it may be to begin with) how that feeling may feel in your body.


You may notice your breath deepen, you let out a deep sigh then a little smile begins to form on your face naturally. Now you’ve identified how you’d prefer to feel - most likely at peace, feeling empowered and confident - spend some time really tuning in to how it would feel, the easier and quicker this feeling will build in size and become easier to tap into and to hone in on.


Once you feel more rooted in how this feeling / these feelings feels in your body, you can begin to let your mind wander with different potential preferred scenarios and outcomes that come from this feeling good state.


You can imagine you feeling confident and grounded in that difficult conversation you need to have - you can imagine you speaking your truth with your parents in a graceful and loving way, and imagining your parents receiving your words in positive and peaceful way. You can imagine yourself feeling good when you look in the mirror - you can imagine what kind of thoughts you may have if you had a loving relationship with yourself. Hey you can even imagine what a healthy relationship with social media may be like.


This simple yet profound manifesting method can be applied in a curious and creative way to any future event, personality trait, conversation that needs to be had - anything you want to sway in your favour, when your intention is one of love, peace, grace, harmony and beauty.


It’s better to try this with your eyes closed, but you can also practise this method with a soft gaze. Really focus in on how it feels first, let your connection to this feeling increase and strengthen before you add preferred feeling potential-outcome visualisations to it.


It’s all about the feelings, baby!
